Default Just went Online, Observations and minor Questions

I joined Full Tilt last week and I have some random things to say

Setting up with epassporte was easy. I had read some posts saying they had problems but I didn't. I used a credit card to fund epassporte and sent money to Full Tilt. I didn't have to call my bank, I did it all online at work at 4:00 AM.

I haven't read about how to take advantage of bonuses and probably did it all wrong. I sent $100 to FT and I am seeing Full Tilt points. Maybe that is my bonus?

The first 2 days I played free, 10-20 limit holdem. That was stupid loose and easy. When I started .25-.50 limit for money the play tightened up, tighter than B&M 3-6. I know I have a small sample for my observation, but I saw plenty of hands not seeing the river.

I have the latest version of FT and have had no problems that others reported. I don't have a beta version, just the one that the software asked if I wanted to download.

I'd like to multi-table a little, just 2 or 3 tables, I haven't tried it with the new software but I tried resizing and that seemed to work fine.

Questions:

I just downloaded pokertracker. How many hands do I need to play to get an idea of where I am at?

I bankrolled $100 and I know this is less than 300BB for .25-.50. If my PT ratings are good do I need 300BB to move to .50-1.00?

How do the limits online relate to B&M?

To see if you got a bonus you should click on "BONUS ACCOUNT" in the cashier. Typically you should sign up through an affiliate or enter some bonus code when depositing in order to get a bonus. Since you missed that you missed all bonus and rakeback opportunities forever.

Maybe you still got the 100% initial deposit bonus. Click on Bonus Account.

I have no problems with their software as well.

You're playing stats (VPIP, PFR, AF) tend to converge after a few 1000 hands. Your winrate often takes tens of thousands of hands to converge. There are good posts about winrates and confidence intervals. Look at the FAQ in the Micro Limit forum.

There is no problem with taking shots earlier, like at 200BB or 250BB. Just be sure to drop down again when you lost a few 10BB.

If this is your first real money account I wouldn't worry too much about missing out on the bonus or RB. Mistakes happen, just make sure you look into it before you make your next account. Full Tilt is one of the big ones now but there are better bonuses out there so you should be able to take advantage of them.

Also, all I know about online compared to live is that they're much tighter on line. I've heard that 3/6 online is comparable to 10/20 live. I go to Vegas a couple times a year and 3/6 or 4/8 in the casino is much easier than on line.

The only problem is that FT affiliates now have the best rakeback deal going for US players and it is nearly impossible to get FT rakeback if you already created an account. AP and UB just switched (AP) or are switching to (UB) the contributed method of RB calculation which significantly lowers the amount of rakeback for taggy type players. The only other major site that allows US players (Stars) doesn't have rakeback affiliates.

But Stars rake is lower than most other's rake and FPP are an equivalent to RB. For a supernova player it's like about 38% RB.

For NL the rake structure at Stars is the same as at the other sites - 5% up to 1, 2, or 3 depending on the number of players. Supernova might be equivalent to 30% rakeback, but its only really relevant to someone who plays a lot of poker. It is not relevant to the guy that plays 3 tables 1-2 hours a night after the kids get put to bed, whereas this same player may end up with as much $500 per month in rakeback from a FT affiliate.
