My Dad: He is Pissing Me off

OMIGosh I need the LIfe adVice!

My mom is very easy going, and spoiles me. So I am generally on her "side". IE; she asks me to do something I will do it.

My dad however, is and ass to me. (rightfully so I suppose). He comes home from work, and sits by the PC for 4 hours, not really doing anything. He then typicllay starts bugging my brother and I:

"clean the kitchen" - hmm, I didnt make it dirty
"clean up that [censored] on the floor" - I didnt put it there.
Just typical b.s, over and over and over. Every day.

I try to live as if I am not part of the family; I cook all my own meals, I dont ask for money, I dont talk, I just stay to myself. Yet despite my efforts to be left alone, my dad hypocritically demands all these things from me.

We are cool, however we just dont get along.
I figure I will move out in the near future and live w/ some college friends, or something, but for now, I must deal w/ this somehow.

Side comment: it is easy to side w/ the dad b/c after all he provides a roof, and I'm lazy, and dont like to be bothered over prrty things, however;

he does minimal things for family besides make money. I mean he dosnt cook, dosn't watch kids' ball games, dosn't clean, the house. He expects everyone else to do it besides him.

Any of you older wise ppl know what to do?
I really trust OOT, so I will mostl likely do what you suggest.

You have the right idea about moving out, and until then you pretty much gotta suck it up. What can you really do? Challenge your dad to a fist fight?

I do stuff like this for my parents all the time when I'm living at home. So he might be rude about asking, but you can't get pissed off at him for telling you to do household chores.

Suck it up and get off your lazy ass. Even if he's an ass, he's provided for you your entire life, least you can do is clean up the kitchen once in awhile.
