New FTP upgrade = tons of memory???

Is anyone else having problems with the FTP client lagging since the update? I'm playign 10 tables and was playing 8 last night and it's lagging in the worst way. According to my Task Manager, FTP is using 10 (units of whatever) under the CPU column. Under "Mem Usage" it's using 97,000 and change. Overall CPU Performance is only at around 10-25% though.

Thoughts? Any way to improve this?

is this happening w/anyone else. It's gotten so bad I can't even play right now. It seems to be getting worse n worse exactly like the Party memory leak problem.

I quit playing today after 44 hands. The lag was simply unbearable.

Those CPU and memory numbers don't sound wrong for that number of tables. You should be seeing those stats without experiencing lag (unless your PC is ancient). But since this is a new phenomenon, I'd say your PC probably should be able to handle it.

I put in a quick session earlier only playing 5 tables and it was lagging worse than ever. I have 8 and 9 tabled before and never even noticed any lag. It has to be something w/ the new software.

i'm playin 2 tables and everything is noticably laggier (even doin things like opneing / closin tables)

Having the same problems too. I just assumed it was because i had to turn on flicker free drawing in pahud since the update but if everyone else is still lagging.....
