25 NL Bottem Set on Monotone Flop
Not sure if this is standard, but I had no idea how to interpret the flop check-raise. I think playing these types of flops is a leak of mine because I have a tendency to see monsters under the bed. Thanks for the input.
No specific reads on the villian but he seemed reasonable. Effictive stacks are $25.00 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Hero [3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] Hero: raises $0.50 to $0.75 CO: folds BTN: folds SB: calls $0.65 BB: folds *** FLOP *** [T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] ($1.75) SB: checks Hero: bets $1.50 SB: raises $2.25 to $3.75 Hero: ???? |

Re: 25 NL Bottem Set on Monotone Flop
Im raising pot again, if he's flopped a flush, you still have decent odds. If he's flopped a higher set then so be it. IMO there is nothing wrong with getting your chips in here.

Re: 25 NL Bottem Set on Monotone Flop
I like calling and bombing the turn but I play a little to fancy for these lower stakes sometimes.
