Re: Firefox is running slow
I assume that by 'slow' you mean that sites are taking a long time to load? Are ALL sites taking a long time or just some? Also, does it persist if you clear your cookies and cache (Tools > Clear Private Data > check "Cookies" and "Cache" and hit the Clear Private Data button) and restart?

Re: Firefox is running slow
Ed, hey man ... how's life?
To add on what ispiked said, you may want to try this to avoid future problems: set it to Clear Private Data each time you close your browser. It's kind of annoying because you have to re-login to most sites (it deletes your cookies) but for the most part, gets rid of all those small annoying problems. |

Re: Firefox is running slow
Fasterfox is a good FF extension that might help.

Re: Firefox is running slow
Do i have to twidle with Faster Foxs settings or will it fix everything on its own? I have no idea about anything the FF addon site was talking about.

Re: Firefox is running slow
You don't have to do anything to "enable" Fasterfox, but you can tweak its configuration, although it's slightly advanced. See the website for more info.
That said, Fasterfox will make things (a little bit) faster, but it sounds like the OP's browser was running fine and something slowed it down. In that case, Fasterfox probably isn't the solution. |
