KJs 4 handed
i really hated this hand:
BB is too loose and aggressive No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25./$0.50. 5 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $78.50 CO: $50.95 Button: $37.35 SB: $48.35 BB: $20.45 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero raises to $1.75, CO calls, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls. Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($7.25, 4 players) BB checks, Hero bets $6, CO calls, Button folds, BB raises all-in $18.7, i debated for awhile whether or not to cbet . . . i'm 90% certain i'm behind BB unless he has KT. looking back i like a shove to isolate BB. although i'm behind i have a decent amount of outs and there's dead money in the pot. thoughts? |

Re: KJs 4 handed
I would consider folding this pre flop, my reason being that your hand could be easily dominated and being out of position its going to take a monster flop for you to be able to play this hand with any real certainty.
On the flop, its a multi-way pot and one of the opponents you know to be very loose and aggressive meaning that he's unlikely going to be folding to your cbets. If villain is a complete idiot I may be tempted to call for half a stack but if he's a competent player just being aggresive im folding. |

You're dominated sometimes but there are way too many straight draw/pair combinations to consider folding for only $12.70 more. I'd probably reraise pretty large to prevent CO from calling. You may even get him to fold a better hand like Q9. |

Re: KJs 4 handed
the only thing you can really beat is k 10 like you said.
he could k9, in which case you are really screwed. i'd probably fold since it is a multiway pot. multiway pots you want to flop big or get out of the way. i can't tell you how many times i have outflopped someone with a hand like Q9 suited or K9 suited and completely stacked someone overvaluing tptk in a multiway pot. but i could be completly wrong and totally off base. anyone totally agree or disagree? |
