$16s - 10/20, 1010 w/ K2K flop
Is it good to just ditch the hand at this point?

Re: $16s - 10/20, 1010 w/ K2K flop
1. Why no raise preflop? I make this 80 to go most of the time.
2. I don't know what to do on the flop. I can see raise/fold to a 3 bet or a bet on the turn. As played I fold the turn. I am curious what everyone else thinks. |

I don't know about flop, because I always raise this pre.
I guess a call is good. Turn is a fold imo. |

Preflop is meh.
Flop is a call. Turn is a fold. |

Preflop is meh. Flop is a call. Turn is a fold. [/ QUOTE ] Also, FoolyCooly, people think that just because the turn card doesn't change much, we have to commit to the hand if we call the flop. However, many villains will fire one shell with hands like AQ, AJ, TT-77, etc. but will not bet out again on the turn with hands that we beat here. The fact that he bets again gives us more information about his hand than we had on the flop (where we did not automatically decide "MHIG on a blank turn"). |

Re: $16s - 10/20, 1010 w/ K2K flop
Early and middle position in level 1 and 2 I usually just limp 10s.. I'm pretty late on this hand though not sure why I didn't raise.
For anyone whos saying preflop is bad (I don't think limping is bad might not be the best though) is it because of the limp or the call? |

Uh, the call is never bad.

With TT in MP3, I open-raise 100% of the time. Limping isn't awful though. Def calling the raise is fine.

Re: $16s - 10/20, 1010 w/ K2K flop
Let's talk about this flop call a little more. I see this kind of flop all the time when I have a PP and a paired-overcard comes. We're obviously not giving credit to SB for a K, despite that he RR preflop. What's the thought process for calling the flop?
