Default A7 off, 10bbs left

$25 live tourney poker. Play is generally abysmal, particularly short stacked play.

I have gone all in the last three hands, and won without a showdown.

Blinds 200/400. I have 3.2k.
8 handed, i am utg+1 With A7 off

Hero ?

Hero thinks. I have 8bbs, and an A, which should be good for a shove. On the other hand, SOmeone will sooner or later call me.

I think I should shove.

But, hero decided to raise to 1k. (min raising was working here)

mp calls, all fold to bb, who calls

FLop (3200) 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BB checks, Hero has 2200, two villains have 2k.

Hero shoves.

In retrospect, i think shoving with A7 and 8bb >>>>>>>>calling>>&gt ;>>>>>>>>folding

THOughts?

Push the flop. Fold preflop with no ante due to your position.

I would probably fold but see shoving as a close second choice. If you shove 4 times in a row someone may loosen their standards to stand up to you. I think Harrington says with a M5 you should shove pf if you decide to play it. I would not raise.

Also, with no ante, you can afford to be a little more patient than with an ante.
