My friend is charles537. Tsxxx is a good very hard to exploit player. Clampoker is a TAG. WHen they got it all in...it was 52-48 tsxxx.

I think he shoulda gotten it all in. Tsxxx was 50-50 bluffing...and he had good draws...although not sure. My friend thinks he shoulda called and if he missed flush he woulda folded to "perserve" 2nd.

Phanekim's post has errors. I was 52-48 ahead. He also slightly mistated my explanation to him. I said in some cases i call but on that flop i had to either reraise immediately (my reraise took 1 minute) or fold because 4% adv isnt significant given low blind levels and decent size stacks. My argument is that to go allin in a sng senario requires at least 55-45 or even 60-40 post flop adv. unless you are shortstacked.

1) Unless you are an amazingly good and mathematically inclined Omaha player, you don't know off the top of your head all the specific numbers here such as the difference between 52-48 and 55-45. You have 30 seconds to make a decision, you don't have this info. Don't make it the crux of this argument.

2) Hand itself is fairly standard. You have AA and the nut flush draw here in what is already a sizable pot, getting the money in is fine.

3) What guarantees that you can hold on to guarantee 2nd place if you call 875 and fold the turn? Clampoker still has 18xBB left.

It's a SNG. you've made the money now gamble it up for 1st place. Especially true in omaha.

how can you be 52-48 here? You have the best draw and maybe the best hand, most of the time you should crush him especially as a "good very hard to exploit player" at the $5.50s probably checks a set a lot here. This would be a silly spot to fold, you probably couldn't fold here even if only 2 places got paid.

The stacks aren't big enough... and the shortie isn't short enough to justify folding. I'd aim to get it all in, especially with your top+bottom pair.

Calling flop and folding turn is worse than just folding the flop given the stack sizes (including shortie)
