Default Help needed

I have about 17K in CC debt and was wondering or looking for suggestions on getting this down.

I could take about 12 to 13K out of my 401K and pay it basically off that way or just try and switch up CC's to an interest free for a few months and pay it down that way.

I own a house and have been looking to put an addition on and that could be a possibility to pay them down as well.

What are your thoughts?

Your looking to put an addition on yet you have 17k in debt? Take out a home equity loan and pay off the high interest CC cards or something don't spend more money!

Cut spending and pay it off as soon as possible.

switch CC's for 0% deals and live within your means. Dont do an addition until you have 6 months emergencey cash and the money for the renovations.
