I would have trouble laying this one down. That turn card isn't too bad.

Having said that...

I would give this guy a range of 88/JJ/T9s/AK(discounted). There are hands like 87s/KJ that might be in his range as well, as well as some random bluffs.

i have trouble laying this down also. I would call, hoping all he has is a draw.

Not thrilled, but I call.

I'm a little confused by his line. 2 pair looking to take it down, or monster draws needing folding equity?

I'm really skeptical he is doing this with a monster draw. What is a solid MP1 calling an UTG+1 raise with preflop here that I am beating? 87 is all I can think of, and I am skeptical of that.

Why is he betting so big with a set? He can't be putting you on an under-set here.

I feel like it's two pair enough to warrant a call. Do you use the "called preflop raise" stat on your HUD? Helps me narrow down villain's range in spots like this.

No I don't use that stat but I might add it. I use VPIP, PFR, flop aggression, and # of hands, i tried adding cold call percentage and it seemd to be getting to be too many stats.

When the action gets to him on the turn, there is $49 in the pot and I have about $66 left. I think he would pop all in here with a set or str8, any sized raise is going to totally pot commit us both, and theres no point in him slow playing any longer.

LOL. Fold a set? Honestly, anyone that would fold this hand should probably stop playing poker. And that's not a joke.

Who are you again? I checked some of your posts and usually its 'I never would fold a flush here, never fold a set here, etc' without any logical explanation. Could you tell me what level youre crushing, and what range you put an 8 tabling tag opponent on here?
