Dreams Die Hard! Stanford Group Gives Little Hope for Online Poker

Check out the front page of gambling911.com today. There is a very good article; "Internet Gambling: Stanford Group Gives Repeal A 10% Shot."

In a nutshell the well respected Stanford Financial Group has given only a 10% chance that Congress will lift UIGEA.

In addition, the Stanford Group feels that there is only a 20% chance that a poker carveout will ever happen.

Also, the article notes that it would take between 1.5 and 2 years just to STUDY whether it is possible to regulate and tax internet gambling. So I guess it would take at least 4 to 5 years to actually get online gambling regulated and legal in the USA, if at all.

Is there anything in that arcticle they could tell us that we don't already know?

well overall the % of chance increase which mean we improve and got more outs.

I am actually thrilled at 20%. This is great news. And 4-5 years? that's great too. I always felt more like 5-10.
