Default bustoville (a trip report)

Ill preface this by saying Im not broke, I have plenty of money, and will be reloading soon. So please dont think Im looking for a staker or a handout. Also I know nobody really cares this is kinda like therapy for me though

I always laughed at people when the said they went busto because they obviously suck at poker, and had no bankroll management. Which are obviously both true in my case.

I played on party from early 2004 until the ban and had a except for the first year I was a solid winner at SSNL and SNGs. After the ban I started on stars in November of last year. I deposited 300$. I started at 10nl and by early January I was playing mostly 100nl and occasionaly 200nl, with a bankroll of about 3500.

I then went on a massive downswing and lost about half my roll. Also it's important to note that I rarely tilt. But It would not be unusual to wake up on a Saturday morning and notice I had lost 300-700$ the night before and not even remembering, because I was blacked out. Anyways my roll got down to about 900$ or so and I was shorstacking 100NL. This is when I started playing SNG's again. I ran at like 24% ROI at 3$ and 6$ SNGS over like 500 or so. I also started playing 180's won 1 second 2 and monied a few more. So my roll got back up to a respectable ammount.

Then I figured I was killing the SNGs, move up obviously? So I started 4 tabling the 16's and ran ok but after a bad run was a slight looser. So what did I do? Obviously move up to 27's. Here I just got completely demolished. At one point last week I had 20$ left in my account. Played a 16$ SNG, got first had then went and played 50NL. Got up to like 200$. Anyways this weekend I was pretty much playing drunk and shorstaking. Yesterday morning I had 67cents in my account.

It's kinda like when your parents say they are more dissapointed then mad when you [censored] up. It's really depressing/pathetic to think I have to reload. I know Im a winning player when Im not drunk playing way out of my league. Also Im going play on Full tilt so I was wondering what everybody thinks of the play there as oppossed to Stars. And if anybody has any Ideas how to stop donating when Im drunk.
