Re: bluffing my whole stack
I definately fold this on the flop. Bad lags with huge stacks will often call down pretty light against someone with way less chips. I'd rather use my bluffs on someone that can lay down a hand. Wait to make a hand against this guy.

Re: bluffing my whole stack
This is pretty player dependant, but looks like hes got a monster. But if he does this a lot then this could be a weak hand or air.

Re: bluffing my whole stack
In general, I don't like pushing over these weird blocking bet dealies against bad players b/c it's so easy for him to convince himself to call "I look so weak, ugggg call call call."
However, in my HU games I've noticed that these bad Lags often bluff with these types of bets. In order to make a play like this though, I'd wanna be sure that I had a solid read/instinct. |

You're exposing yourself into getting outplayed here.

Re: bluffing my whole stack
I'm pretty much never a fan of bluffing bad LAGs when I don't have a solid read or can't put them on a specific range of hands. There's some hands he will fold here and some he won't, but its kind of hard to tell in which way the proportions are tilted. I would just let it go on the flop or turn and wait until a better spot to get involved with him.

Re: bluffing my whole stack
I honestly don't hate it, but I don't love it either. I've seen this be everything from missed clubs that fold to QJ that thinks and thinks but talks himself into a call.
In general, if you're gonna make a play here, I'd rather raise the flop and hope he check / folds the turn. I think it gets similar results at a smaller cost. |

Re: bluffing my whole stack
He often has a weak hand here on the river, but many times that weak hand is better than yours, and many times even though it looks like he's going to block/fold, he will block/call because he's a bad LAG who seems to be running hot.
I would prefer to just raise or fold the flop (fold is my default). |

Re: bluffing my whole stack
I think not raising the flop made your whole line a lot less credible.
