Yeah reraise a bit more (like 2.75). As played though, your flop call is fine.

Unfortunatly you did not raise enough pf to price him out and you are now staring down an ugly board. As played I call here unless I have better read on villian.

Def never 3-bet min pf. It just tips your hand. Make it like 2.75. Of course you have to felt, what kind of stupid ass makes an overbet here if they flopped a set or a two pair. If he did this make a note and try not to tie the noose..

Limping with Aces... DON'T DO IT This hand is truly bizarre [/ QUOTE ] Considering how many people limp at this level and how many will still call the LRR from UTG despite the obviousness of his hand, this play is super good. |

Re: NL10 - AA against one opponent, moves all-in on flop, call or fold
Limping UTG stinks at 10NL. Hero was looking at a 5way pot if BB hadn't raised. If hero has a read that some aggro-donk is waiting to raise it up, then a very slim maybe. I'm sorry but this hand was poorly played. Raise UTG, and certainly reraise more than that miniraise. Rest is fine but the mistakes were already made.

never ever limp with AA. And given that you did, i like to raise to 2.75-3. NEVER give him a good price to hit 2pair/flushdraw/set, which is exactly what you did.

Limping with Aces... DON'T DO IT This hand is truly bizarre [/ QUOTE ] While I don't think it is bad to do this once in a very great while, its just OK. Not even sure it is worth it at NL10. It allows people to see a cheap flop with hands that could become monsters. Talking mostly SCs and PPs. In this hand in particular you allowed some goof with T7o to think he could make a squeeze play and the flop hits him hard. The worst part of the hand is the pre-flop re-raise. You gotta bet more or your giving villain great odds with too wide a range of hands. 2.75-3.00 at least. |

Considering how many people limp at this level and how many will still call the LRR from UTG [/ QUOTE ] That's the problem. Yes at this level people usually LIMP; you cannot count on someone raising behind you, and you wind up tearing your hair out trying to figure out if your aces are good with 6 players seeing the flop. This isn't high stakes poker. You miss out on a boatload of value making these types of fancy plays at 10NL. |
