Default So I flop pretty good.... How\'d I turn? 10-20 6max on the interwebs

No info on players. They are all donkeys. At least I assume so, because they are playin on the interwebs.

Folded to the hero in CO who has K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Sb checks, BB checks, I bet, SB calls, BB raises, I 3bet, both call.

Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB checks, I .... have to bet, don't I?

I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't bet this every time.

I see what you're thinking here, CSC. Measuring the value in betting against naked Kings, flush draws, and worse two pairs like T9... vs. the extreme likelihood that QJ just got there and you'll be checkraised and have to call praying to hit a 4-outer (or less if another K or T is gone).

Whereas if you check behind, you'll get action on the river but can see a showdown for 1BB -- and you might fill up and get a raise in while the QJ cries and calls.

Combination-wise, I think QJ is more likely than people are giving credit for given we hold a K and a T. Obviously flush draws are possible too... but giving a flush draw a free card and seeing a heart on the river isn't as devastating as people may think, as a flush draw still has quite a bit of equity 3-handed.

Anyway, I think it's a LOT closer than all the respondants have indicated so far. People are acting like this is a no-brainer bet, and that's just not the case. I think it IS a bet, but you're right to question this and if you checked behind to see a showdown for 1BB, I can't fault you at all. Seeing a 9 or an A (or a heart) were all crappy turn cards for you. And there's nothing worse than not using your position to avoid a c/r and having to pay 2BBs hoping to fill up and then folding on the river -- which of course you don't do since you're a payoff wizard -- so you pay 3BBs to get to showdown even though your hand-reading told you you were up against one flush draw and a QJ.

QJ isn't crying on a river K or T after you check through the turn. he might 3-bet though and cry when you 4-bet.

If they are donkeys then sb could also hold 78, or 7h8h (fine even for non donk). That 9 wasn't a great card...
