Default TT

Villain is unknown.

PokerStars 0.10/0.20 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

I thought iīd just call out of position. But 3bet ?

Flop: (7 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, CO calls, Hero calls.

Again, I probably have the best hand but thought iīd call since i canīt drive CO out and the turn could change a lot.

Turn: (5 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, CO folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, UTG calls.

A great turn for me.

River: (9 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 12 BB

that is a strangely played hand. I think you should of left your river decision out of the mix.

If you think the turn was so great, how did the river 8 change anything?

If you are going to c/r the turn, I would be ready to showdown. I think, here, I like check calling the turn, then donking the river.

Against an unknown, I don't get why you folded.

Why ? And no matter what happens ?

"If you think the turn was so great, how did the river 8 change anything? "

It didnīt. But the fact that i got raised after my check raise did change things.

I like a 3-bet preflop. Post flop is c/c c/c c/c or c/f flop.

I think the idea is getting to SD vs unknown. If he likes to bet AQ all the way then let him.

Why ?

Because, if I liked my hand enough to c/r on a big street, I am thinking I'm ahead and am not going to fold to a brick on the river.

So would you have folded if he re-raised your check/raise?

Sorry man, I just don't like the bet/fold after you showed so much aggression.

Would you like a bet fold had you not shown that much aggression ? Lets say, cc cc bf ? Or we check turn, Villain and CO checks, we bet river and get raised ?

3-bet preflop. Raise the flop. That's a great flop for TT. And then just value bet until the river. If you're 3-bet on the flop call down.
