Default .10/.20 hand for analysis...not feeling creative w/titles.

no reads here, only my 1st orbit at table.
should I have lead the turn?
should I have folded somewhere on the river?
this is a hand that when I reviewed it, I just felt lost.

I three bet the flop, UTG just limped in preflop and might be raising a flush draw or weaker ace. Bet the turn. Nice river and nice hand.

3-bet the flop--you have the best hand. No [censored] way am I letting the turn get checked through.

3-bet the flop.

By the river, nothing that Villain could rationally (or usually even irrationally) play this way beats you, unless he's playing 55/52/A5 like a moron. The turn check-through looks more like he was on a wheel/flush draw.

So, let's just get this out of the way...Villan had A5. And he's a jackass. That said...

3-bet the flop. Lead the turn...if he raises the turn, on a paired board, I'll go for the call down, even when the queen hits on the river. He's got a 5 in his hand too much IF HE RAISES THE TURN. As this was played, meh, I might just call the river raise to see what he's got, but giving him a chance to cap is spewing, I think.

You give .10/.20 Villans way more credit than I do. Actually, having looked a second time at the hand, I'm thinking Villan had 65/54.

Oh, when they're spewing, that's when I don't give them credit. When a nano villain checks, 99.999999999 percent of the time it means he doesn't have a hand worth anything because there's always been action no matter what he does, especially with an ace on board.

Knowing what he had, I'm going to say that this was the most retarded checkraise attempt in the history of poker.

Question:

Regarding Ed Miller's post "charging flush draws," would that not be applicable here. Aren't we just pumping someone's equity edge on the flop if they are on a flush draw and we 3-bet. Maybe I misunderstood that thread. Comments.
