Short-stacking bankroll
Say you need N times the 100BB buy-in bankroll to play a given level with an acceptable ROR. Since I'm an STT donk and like my shallow stack, buying in for 20BB instead, how many of these 20BB buy-ins do I need to be have an adequate br? N, 2N, 5N?

Re: Short-stacking bankroll
a lot, variance is huge and your winrate will be very very small if anything.

30-40n minimum [/ QUOTE ] I take it this means 30-40 times the buy-in, not 30-40 times N? (I defined N to be the amount of buy-ins I'd need in my bankroll to be properly bankrolled if I bought in full, e.g. N=20 is close to standard I guess. If I had 40N, I'd have 800 short buy-ins, which seems overly nitty...) |
