River: ($58.85) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: $58.85

Villian was LP, only had like 15 hands on him but he had limped half and raised either one or none. The turn was essentially get in or don't, and I just thought with that little donk bet there's no way he can be set or two pair strong. What flopped hand (set, two pair) doesnt get it in on the flop? So I pushed. Comments on all streets welcome.

Danny

first, i think your 3bet is a little small...... 3.50 is bad here i think at 25nl.......... make it atleast 4 pre flop, anyone calling 3.5 is willing to call 4...... secondly, when you make it 9 to go on the flop and he calls, this is very disturbing to me, its not a real drawy board, and one of the 2 big draws i see has hit....... also what hand can he have here besides a set....... or A 10, which you should never be worried about...... i may just check call the rest of the way b/c it is not a super drawy board.

I call down from the turn. The board is drawless, so I don't think he is pricing himself in for something.

I play it same way. He could easily have AT, KT or JJ-KK here. Overcards or a ten could put you in a tough situation or kill the action.

Pretty standard... you'll see JJ/QQ/KK here plenty. If he has a set oh well- I'm never laying this down without a very good read. Your default 3bet size here should be such that he's calling 10%+ of effective stacks, so bump that up to 4, 4.50.

get it in on the turn. if he has somethin crazy like 35 suits and called that rr pf and hit his straight, well just be happy your gunna get lots of money from him making calls like that on future hands.

edit - fours or sixes or tens hes putting you in on that flop. you cant count on him smooth calling with a set there, gotta imagine after the raise he gets it in.

hummm, difficult, depends of the timw, but sometimes I slow down a little bit, btw he really does the same thing with KK,QQ,JJ... but just if he is a donkey he daes that with AT and KT... he(I) check the turn and call a small bet... or maybe check and raise to see where I am...

think u played fine; NH

In a reraised pot, I'm having a hard time finding a fold. The only hand that really concerns me is TT. I probably raise more preflop to force Villian to make a mistake, but I play for stacks on this board.
