Yesterday I saw their GM say they were going to try to trade him. Guess not.

Not a big surprise. I'm sure no one wanted to pay him the 5 or 6 mil he was going to get next year. Also, why give them something for him now when you know they are going to have to cut him if they can't trade him anyway?

Carr would be a big upgrade for them. He's already outperformed him on a team much worse at RB/OL/maybe WR.

edit: though they'd probably have to ditch their deep passing game.

Pretty bad, but they luckboxed (or maybe not) into getting the defensive ROY, Demeco Ryans. So it wasn't a total bust.

Probably the worst botch of a #1 pick since Michael Olowakandi, though.
