Hemsky, Reasoner and Gilbert back in the linup today. Oilers +220, playing colorado again. I think they have more pride than to lose twice in a row to the same team in their building. Maybe its the oilers night?

probably wont be touching this game...but I certainly wouldnt be betting on the oilers.

From edmonton journal:

" Marty Reasoner (shoulder) and Ales Hemsky, who has now missed eight games with a collarbone injury, may not be ready for Friday. Both skated Thursday but were later listed as doubtful. Defenceman Tom Gilbert, who sustained a concussion a month ago, is expected to be back. He would give the Oilers six defenceman, otherwise, the team will play short-handed once again."

The aves scored 5 times fairly easily in the last game and really could have been more had they needed it. Getting a fringe Dman back whos missed a month is hardly going to stop the aves from scoring tonite.

I'm really trying to find a reason not to chunk off on Col here.

Thanks OP....

For reminding me to bet the Avalanche tonight. Really doubt that Edmonton has any pride left at this point after losing 12 in a row. You'd think playing Colorado twice in a row will just mean a depressingly empty arena who's not really cheering the Oilers on at all.

I put 100 on COL -1.5 +110.

Also have them on 2 parlays.

Colorado needs this game more than EDM.

Strange that it's a back to back in the same arena?

LINEUP UPDATE (11:36 AM): Ales Hemsky, Marty Reasoner and Tom Gilbert each took the morning skate and all three declared themselves ready to go for tonight. Head coach Craig MacTavish remarked that the players will take the pre-game warmup and be gametime decisions.

This was taken from the oilers website....I just think at home, i'd rather wager $50 to win $110 then wager $240 to win $100 on colorado. IM also an oiler fan, and hemsky will make a huge difference.

hemsky's no gretzky...hell, he's not even a crosby or anovechkin..i don't think he can singlehandedly help the oil win..his counterpart sakic, however can [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
