Default Complicated situation - $1200 1-2 pot, live cash game

Three relevant players in this hand. Villain is in EP with $1400. Hero in MP with $800. Short-stack in LP with $72.

Pre-flop: Villain raises to $15. This is a standard opening raise for him, and the game, and could mean anything from AA to 72o ("the hammer" gets played as a prop bet).

Hero calls.

Short stack moves in for $72. He has been playing tight, on short-stack for most of the night, moving in to pick up mid-sized pots on the flop.

Villain calls the extra $57. This means a legit hand, although the lack of raise is somewhat puzzling.Thoughts

Hero calls with 8s4s. Loose, but I pride myself on post-flop play, and implied odds were excellent against villain.

Flop comes 7s 5s 2d.

Villain bets $50.

Hero raises to $200.

Villain thinks for 20 seconds and moves in, making it $425 more to call.

What do you do?

Fold, you are behind villains range... AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AKs, AQs, KQs.

Also, this is a gross call PF IMHO.

heh, unfortunately, if you pride yourself on postflop play, this should be a pretty easy decision since you made it when you raised. I dunno why you raised though, but once you did, what did you expect to happen ?

This is an easy call once you raised. The pot is 1000 and 425 to call.
