Default Checking the lines, KK on BB

First hand I'm putting here, kinda guess the awnser but wanna check the lines on Hero. No stats on villain.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG ($5.60)
UTG+1 ($20.85)
MP1 ($25.30)
MP2 ($17.50)
CO ($14.40)
Button ($38.05)
SB ($24.15)
Hero ($25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, K.
2 folds</font>, MP1 calls $0.25, 4 folds</font>, Hero raises to $1</font>, MP1 calls $0.75.

Flop: ($2.10) 8, 7, 4 (2 players)</font>
Hero bets $1.5</font>, MP1 calls $1.50.

Turn: ($5.10) 2 (2 players)</font>
Hero bets $2.5</font>, MP1 calls $2.50.

River: ($10.10) 5 (2 players)</font>
Hero bets $4</font>, MP1 calls $4.

Final Pot: $18.10

I thought about checking the turn when I saw the hand, but then figured the turnbet was going to get called by loads of worse/drawing hands, and I figured it was likely Hero was still ahead.

Would it be smarter to C/C the turn? Or a smaller valuebet on the river?

I think all your betsizes are a little too small. I play it the same though betting more on all 3 streets.

Bet more preflop, on the flop and on the turn. I might c/c the river unless villain is a calling station. There are a few busted straight draws out there. But just as many have come in by the river.

I agree with the betsizes preflop and turn, but bet more on the flop? $1,50 in a $2, what's wrong with that?

This is my standard bet here, so please, why make it $1,75-$2?

LOL kinda figured that but if I make my standard bet $1,75 here, I also have to pick up more pots to stay EV+ at CBing (or at least to make the same or more profit from it). Since I don't think there's that much of a difference between calling an $1,50 bet and a $1,75 bet for villain, I always figured making a 3/4 pot bet would be sufficient.

Why would I change the amount? I wonder, would I make more profit by keeping the 1,50 and miss like 10% value in the end with big hands, or hitting it up to $1,75 for extra value, but I will pick up less EV with CBing...

Anyone has stats on those kind of numbers?

meh. It doesn't really matter. And it doesn't hurt to be consistent with your bet sizing so that people can't read if you are cbetting or value-betting. If that is your standard bet size it's ok. I always vary my bets a little so that I can bet more when I want value or good fold equity without giving my hand away. The flop play isn't bad.

Edit to add: it's 1BB more or less. And that can have an impact on your winrate on the long run. You want to extract the most with your winning hands.
