i like it. if my spidey senses were telling me that i could raise the river and not be 3bet a good portion of the time, i would raise the river. bb has taken a slow rolling line here, and given his play and PF tendencies i think QQ and 88 should be weighted heavily within his range. the only hands we beat are 22 and something like A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

I'd rather c/r the flop. Rest of the flop/turn/river look good.

I think the b/3b is a better line, plus it got the extra two bets in that a c/r may not have. Who was going to 3b the c/r?

why do you want to blast bb out of this pot when in all likelihood he is drawing pretty much dead?

Hmm, I originally liked the idea of cr too, but I'll have to think about it some more.

Ok, I've thought about it, I still like CR more.

Whatever way you get a bunch of bets in here, I like.

I would have probably used a different sequence.

I would have checkraised the flop, so that the BB would only face one bet the first time around.

I might be wrong, but I am going to go one more bet on the river here. This could be a mistake, and you could have a better sense being at the table with him, but both 8s, and Queens feel wrong. I would guess that he has either Aces or deuces, and slowplayed the flop, and hasn't put you on a set yet.

C/R usually means I have top pair, and I hope your preflop raise was with a big ace that missed or a smaller pair. I like it with a set, because an overpair, or a good top pair will frequently threebet, and then you can checkraise again on the turn. See my AA for fun hand.
