Turn Decision with KK
Villain is 20/8/1.5 - I have lost one RR'd pot at this table. one of them was on the first hand, where a shortstack raised, i 3bet AQs in the BB shorty pushed and i called the extra $15, his AKo held.
This hand is like 5 or 6 hands after my first hand with AQ. 5 handed $200nl Hero has $200, Villain covers Hero has K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain raises to $8, 3 folds, Hero raises to $25, Villain calls Flop $52 - 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets $39, Villain calls He instacalled Turn $95~ - A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero??? |

Re: Turn Decision with KK
I'd say bet 65/fold. But I'd love to hear advices from far more experienced players.

Re: Turn Decision with KK
heh me too...
He has TT-QQ? I dont think he's peeling wth AK. That being said I have no idea what to do on the turn. Any reasonable bet on the turn commits you to the pot... am I right? |

Re: Turn Decision with KK
I think check calling here is the best play.

Re: Turn Decision with KK
i hate this and play this spot badly almost everytime
1) c/f - weak and allows villain to bluff, however he would only be bluffing with QQ JJ TT and FD- practically every toher hand in his range up to now has you beat i think 2) bet out 50- this is ok , you can take down the pot when he has an underpair- however this is pretttty unlikely i thihnk. he will not be folding a flush draw and Betting out the turn leaves you in such a sick state when the river is anything besides the Kh.. How do you call a villain oush if you check the river? even if heas a missed FD, up till know you have almost no info on his hand 3) c/c - this leaves you in a poop spot and i dont think this is +EV. really you are only beating a few hands in his range 4) jesus i hate this spot. 5) after some more though i think a bet of 39- 50 is ok in case villain put you on AK and has either FD or Underpair such as 77 88 TT JJ QQ .. but i think c/f river if villain pushes |

Re: Turn Decision with KK
there is no way hero doesnt have the best hand
enduce the bluff, jam, watch them fold, or call with diamonds/pair+draw |
