I slow down once i see that flop with that many opponents. just doesn't look to good here. you hate to get called/raised and I don't think you take it down very often. sometimes, preflop, I just limp behind, def with AQ here, about 25% with AK.

Raise more pf or limp, your raise is small enough that you'll get a lot of callers but builds a big pot. I'd probally raise somewhere between 80-100 or limp.

I think limping with AK behind two limpers is pretty terrible. I normally raise to t85 or so in this spot.

After the flop I think I might just check and take a look at the action. This line may also be terrible, I'm not sure, but at least it controls the size of the pot a little bit and having it check through isn't the worst thing in the world.

/agree. My standard raise during Level 1 is 75, but with 2 limpers I might bump it to 80 or even 100 preflop. People play so nutso the first level at the 55's, you have to protect your hand preflop so when A72 comes A2s doesn't beat you. As for your hand, I usually bet pot on the flop, and if I get callers, go all in on the turn. They show me ATo and I bust and fire up another tourney. In level one, I get shown much worse hands than AK regularly(A5s, TJo, QKs come to mind). Raising more preflop is the only way to prevent this from happening less imo.

UTG has to be a complete moreoan for you not to be behind. I hate folding after getting a nice board, but it seems like the prudent thing here given the action.

My formula for Level 1 preflop raises gives me 80 or 85 here. When four people call, I shove that flop with t400 in the pot.

I would normally make it 75-80 here. I think this was just one of those multi table slider things that wound up making it 65. That small mistake might have been enough to change the hand. The action on the flop and turn led me to believe I had to be behind.(I wasn't of course)

The preflop raise amount seems really important to pot control later. My USB number pad lets me get the amounts exactly the way I want them without too much effort. A raise to t65 with two limpers prices in way too much crap.

That seems like a wreckless play to me. AQ, AT, QT, KJ are very likely hands for one of these guys.
