If it wasn't for poker...

I thought this would be a fun post, just to see how poker has affected our lives in different ways, I imagine there will be all different responses both positive/negative.

If it wasn't for poker:

I'd still be living at home with my parents
I'd still work a at a job that I hated
I would be much more frugal with money
I wouldn't care as much about material possessions
No cool vacations [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
My parents would probably be happier with me
I wouldn't be as lazy
I would be extremely depressed and in debt.

I wouldn't save all my schoolwork/studying for the last night
I would be a broke college student
I would be looking for a summer job
I would be going to Boston for the summer instead of TStone in May/July

i would spend more time with my girlfriend
i would go to more class

I wouldnt have a job I love
I wouldnt be living in an awesome apart in sight of Fenway
I wouldnt have packed up and lived in the Northwest for 6 months
I would likely be broke as a joke
I wouldnt have enjoyed college as much
I would have likely never been out of the country

and many many many more.

+ I wouldn't have had a luxury three week holiday in Thailand at Christmas, endless collectable vinyl, a new oven, three computers, two tellies, sat TV, another holiday in Bulgaria, tickets to the European Cup Final (Istanbul!!!) for me and a mate, some other stuff. I have a gold medal in poker and my daughter thinks that's the coolest thing.

- I might be happier. I might have got off my arse to find a career that actually engages me. I would have given up smoking. I would have smoked less pot.
