why does irc hate me?

Am i the only one who gets "d-lined" from IRC when i try to connect for having a name that "looks randomly generated".

does anyone know why this is happening? or what i can do so this doesnt happen? im using Hyrda IRC btw. any help is appreciated.

(i had this in internet by accident, but im moving it here)

What IRC network are you trying to connect to? I'd suggest getting a new nick, or a new network. Some networks have anti-bot policies which screen for odd looking nicks, some just allow bots.

well, im no computer dude, so i dont know what the point of trying to get a bot on irc would be. with that, it was efnet.net. however i've been banned temporarily because my nick name sounds "too much like a bot".

stupid if you ask me.

efnet is a freaking nazifest. is there a specific channel on efnet which you are trying to access? if not, I would recommend not using it.

the twoplustwo IRC channels... can i access them if i dont go through efnet?
