I don't know, is checking behind out of the question?

i don't like a check here, if he had a set, we'd have seen a raise by know...he could have a smaller pair or a weaker 10...ur rather weak betting might have him thinking ur bluffing...i think another bet would prolly get called here by him as i'm not putting him on a draw, but rather a pair..

i bet around...is 60-70ish??

I don't know, If he had a ten, I would think he would want to lead out on the flop to see where he is at against a preflop raiser. Checking/calling gives him little info.

Not knowing the villian does make it hard to figure out what's going on, but I think he could possibly have a set of 4's. A pocket pair such as fives sixes (which now give him trips) or sevens is possible too. Or, maybe he just didn't want to bet his top pair on the flop.

Maybe i'm being too scared, but I'd rather check it down and see if I win rather than risk getting check raised and having to make a pretty tough decision.

If we had known more about the villian the decsion would probably be clearer.

^^eh, if had a set of 4's which turned a boat on the turn, he's gotta be c/r that turn thinking we had a big pair possibly...against an unknown, i think we beat a lot here and i want to get a vb in...

easy bet against unknown imo, i dont see many hands he could have that have us beat.

if anything he has played AA/KK really weird, has the same hand as you, or has one of the many hands you can get value from on the river. i think i bet 1/2 to 2/3 the pot.

I bet more on the flop.

Am I the only one that wants to check-behind on the turn?

Are we really hoping to get 3 streets of value with TPTK where top pair is a ten?

I check behind river. I think you are ahead a lot but cant see what worse hands will call unless you know he is a calling station

yes. but i don't hate a turn chk. since he's limp/calling pf i'm assuming he's a weak player and a weaker ten is very much in his range. it could also be a smaller pair that probably won't give any more action any way.. 65 is a hand he could have too which will call the turn and not the river.

if he were a decent or tricky player i would probably go for pot control on the turn since there aren't many draws but most decent players aren't limp/calling pf.
