I make the original call, hope to see a flop, about 20% of the time ... muck it here

Never, ever, EVER make this call. You're putting in a tenth of your stack hoping to hit a what...1:7 draw? You can't play 3s here for anything but a set. Just fold it.

As tempting as it can be sometimes (already put $$ in, having absolute position, chance to stack someone), it's an easy muck.

Actually, I like a call here.

You get a direct 4.something:1 odd, you're closing the action, and with 3 opponents you will get paid like 95% of the time if you hit.

If not, you have an easy fold and still have 1200 chips which is not that big of a deal.

This is the easy fold you need to make ... the odds of hitting the set make the 4 somethingne exceptionally unattractive

7:1 to make a set. So you should need 7x150=1050 in the pot to make a "correct" call chip-wise and here there is only t675.

What I say is : you easily make the missing t375 + a lot more when you hit your 3 at 6.5 in a 4-way pot. Possibly even at any buy-in.

Am I wrong ?
