2 pair on turn with four flush vs turn bully.
First time playing with BB. BB has so far played a tight aggressive game. BB Has shown a pattern of getting highly aggressive on the turn.
PokerRoom 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 6 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls. Turn: (3.25 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets, Hero? At this point im thinking if i am behind, i have 4 outs, so im a 10.5 - 1 dog, 4.25 - 1 doesent cut it obviously. I also know BB has been gettin funky on the turn. I mean, if BB had a nice flush, wouldent he want to just check and let me fire again? theres just so little in the pot. What would you guys do here? |

Re: 2 pair on turn with four flush vs turn bully.
Hmm it might be a bluff but as you said its a small pot and you probably dont even have implied odds to call to your draw.
I fold it |

Re: 2 pair on turn with four flush vs turn bully.
Easy solution: fold.
Hard solution: 1 out of 11 times, you improve to a FH and win anyway. How often is he bluffing? Let's say 20%? So, assume that another 2 out of 11 times, he's bluffing. Meaning, that you have ~30% equity in the current pot and will likely make a bit more on the river if you hit. If you factor in the river, you'll get 7:2 = 3.5:1 odds. So it's pretty much either way. If your read says that he'll donk this every time he'd get the chance, then calling down is probably a bit better, but I think it's pretty thin... |

Re: 2 pair on turn with four flush vs turn bully.
I fold. THe reason he might c/r you is that he is afraid you'll check through, given how scary the board is.
The pot is puny. I don't want to pay 2bb to win 4.5bb with a 4-flush on the board. |

Re: 2 pair on turn with four flush vs turn bully.
I show this down against someone who has shown high levels of turn aggression. He could be betting many worse hands than two pair.
An aggressive player is likely to semibluff check-raise a decent club on that sort of board against a blind stealer, so he likely has a weak club or no club. |

Re: 2 pair on turn with four flush vs turn bully.
The pot is still pretty small. I'm not sure I'd want to continue even if we might've been clarkmeistered. Though if he's known to be agressive, then I could see a call down.
