Sadly true, for the most part. Over-exaggerated for effect, but still . ..That's two years in a row now that they had a lead in their NCAA tourney game and choked it away because instead of staying aggressive and just running their regular offense (which is slow and burns clock anyway) they started to play scared and try to run the shot clock down every possession, jacking up lousy 30-foot shots and giving up fast breaks on the long rebounds. Argh.

not true....they did not try to stall the game out last year verse Washington. They did not chuck up outside jumpers the whole game. The Illini attacked the hoop much more than the Huskies and it was chronicled on this forum last year.

also, fast breaks?????
how many fast break points did V Tech get?

One thing I learned from the article: Illinois has an *ss for an AD.

very true and there is quite a large group of people calling for Ron Guenther to be fired. However, his position is quite stable.

Can someone splain me, or better yet link, to the recruiting discussion v/v Bill Self leaving for Kansas? What sort of things "bend" the rule?

BTW, I actually saw Marcus Liberty driving a white Blazer. I'm sure that was a break/not a bend.
