82o BB in WSOP $80 sat
Heres the deal
ten left in ps $80 qual to the $650. I've been CL for much of the past hour and just recently dropped back to villain in this hand who out drew me w AT vs jj. In any case, we've done battle a bit in the last hour - a bit aggro but nothing really out of line. We're playing five handed and Im now third in chips with top 3 getting the ticket. Im bb with 6375 chips and get 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Blinds are 75/150. Villain with 7810 in chips limps and all others fold to me and I check. flop is 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I check, villain bets 300 and i c/r to 900 and villain calls (0f course or it would of been a really silly post). Turn is the 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. theres now 2175 in the pot and i have 5325 behind (which would be third in chips). what's your play and plan here? |

Re: 82o BB in WSOP $80 sat
ah, i dont like the C/R. you do have a doublebb, but you're 8high right now. If you want to C/R, upping only another 600 is just a sweetener, unless that was your intention, I think 1500 is a better number. I probably would have flat called the flop though.

Re: 82o BB in WSOP $80 sat
I kinda really really really hate the cr here.
It has put you in a really really awkward situation. We had three outs to a really good hand (non club 7) We now have top pair no kicker, against someone who has called a c raise. I would hope we can check it down, but dont think that is likely Was villain usually limping, or does this sorta scream monster? |
