AK near bubble vs table bigstack
At the time I was 19th of 26 and the UTG+1 had 20,000 chips
Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t200/t400 (Ante: t25) 9 players Converter Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to t1050, 2 folds, Hero raises all-in t4085, 4 folds, UTG+1 calls t3035 (pot was t5960). Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (t8995, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: t8995) Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (t8995, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: t8995) River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (t8995, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: t8995) Results: Final pot: t8995 The Grinder in me wants to fold this thinking if I reraise all in, he's certainly not going to fold with a stack of 20,000 and if I wait for a more favourable spot when im first into the pot, Im just as likely to make the top 18 Or should the fact that I'm not even currently in the top 18, make me more willing to flip a coin to make sure I get there, especially when his raise leads me to think theres no way he has anything i wouldnt be even money against if anyone cares, in this senario I decided to push all in and take my chances to get a more comfortable stack for the final two tables. the result is below in white any opinions on this play? or is this decision simply a feel thing? UTG holds JJ and wins the coin flip |
