One of my poker buddies from Michigan State appears at the same MTT table as me the other day. He IMs me (we've already had each others sn's) and asks if he can gold-dig any money off me.
I had just won those two tournies for 11k so I gave him 5 buyins for 24+2 multis. We agreed on 60% of any final table profits, any other cashes were to be reinvested in 24+2 multis. I come from school and have this convo: Charlie: hey can i make a deal with you? Charlie: ill give you $1000 and we call it even??? Bakes: whaat Charlie: Bakes: what happened Charlie: won a 24+2 Bakes: no way Charlie: cmon bro Bakes: today? Charlie: cut me a deal Charlie: yea Charlie: just won it 10 min ago Charlie: i coulda not told you but i dont want to lie to you... i kinda want a big chunk of this Bakes: what was first Charlie: like 3500 Charlie: cmon bro Charlie: your up over 10gs Bakes: it should be 2100 Bakes: it doesn't matter bro i need the cash, i staked you with this agreement Charlie: haha got a good idea Charlie: play you for it Bakes: no Bakes: dont be shady plz Bakes: im pretty generous with my loot but part of it is making an investment Charlie: arite man but i need this loot Charlie: i'll send you 1560 so i have 2k Bakes: just so u know , a lot of people would get offended if you asked for something belligerent like that Charlie: haha Bakes: like 1000 from what should be 2100 is almost insulting Charlie: most people dont expect someone to make 3.5gs out of 100 Charlie: i appreciate the cut Charlie: arite i sent it lemme know when you get it He sends the loot. Bakes: i hope you dont bust that cuz you'll never get a stake from me or anyone i know cliff notes: i stake a friend, he wins a tourney, offers me 30% instead of 60%. I am pretty pissed that he would try to lowball me and pressure me into cutting him a deal. BBV, am I overreacting?

It is pretty [censored] of him....but the bigger deal you make of it, the worse this situation will get. Just ignore him from now on and take it as a life lesson i guess.

If he sent you money in full, let it go don't do business with him again like you said, if he shorted you option #2.
Edit: Yes, you are completely right for being offended, but alot of people try [censored] like that.
