Deep Stacks, 3handed with AKo
This was a live game, so no converter.
I'm playing mixed NL HE and PLO 3-handed when the following occurred: Blinds: .1/.2 Stacks: BTN (Ben) $25 SB (Mike) $60+ BB (Hero) $35 Ben has been reasonably aggressive opening preflop on the button, but hasn't really gotten out of line. Mike is very LAG, rarely folds to a preflop raise, and generally overestimates implied odds. I had been caught bluffing a couple times, but have mostly been playing tight, and I feel my image was TAG. Ben is first, and opens for $1.2 (the usual preflop raise has been to $1, but Ben has a tendency to vary his raises, so the $1.2 means nothing). Mike calls $1.1 more. I have $1 to call. Hero has AKo. Hero reraises to $5. Ben calls. Mike calls. Flop: 8c 6d 3d (pot=$15) Mike checks. Hero checks. Ben checks. Turn: 8c 6d 3d 9h (pot=$15) Mike bets $7.5. Hero folds. Questions: What do you think of hero's preflop reraise? Why? Should hero have bet the flop? If so, how much? Should hero have gone all in on the turn? Why or why not? I feel that I played this hand poorly. I have an idea what I should have done differently, but I want to hear some comments from others before I post my afterthoughts. |

Re: Deep Stacks, 3handed with AKo
PFR is a little small considering hte dynamics and you are OOP.
Post flop is stnd IMO. |
