There's not much out there. HPFAP has a short section of HU play, but it's not very detailed and is more of a thought experiment than practical advice.

I'm thinking and thinking, and I found that it's much better to play HU than full table of 6 max, because obviously, HU means luck won't mean as much as when you play against 5 or more other players, and in HU game, usually, the one with skills always come up on top most of the time.

Wait. Slow down. That's not true. The variance HU is much greater because you play more hands and play them more aggressively. You may have less down swings because you're win rate can be higher, but if your win rate is the same at FR and HU, you will have a lot bigger swings HU.

That's true...

But if you know what you're doing and have skills specifilly for HU vs others that don't know, you're in better shape.

Isn't it.

That's unclear. You'd have to know what you're FR, 6-max, and HU win rates and SD's are and then do the math to see if you're better off in terms of downswings. As I play mostly HU, I believe that I can make more money HU and am willing to accept the extra variance.
