Default FT 50: Big draw, but dude keeps calling.

No reads. I planned to c/c the flop, but then dude minbets and I raise to get out the pf raiser and his overs. I underbet the turn as a semibluff block bet. On the river I thought he might have a higher FD so I bluffed.

i don't like this. firstly, i fold pre. even if you get a flush it is hard to get value from it OOP. also, i don't like your flop play. just call the .50. it is hard to put MP2 on a hand and you are getting great odds. also, with mp1 behind you a semi bluff could have gotten out of control

How is that a big draw?
Don't limp this pre.
Your flop raise does not chase a higher FD out.
Your blocking bet on the turn makes little sense.
The river bluff should be 1/3 to 1/2 pot I think if you go for it (that's the only part of the hand I don't have a problem with actually as I see FD a big part of his range and he probably puts you on some made hand given how goofy you've played it).

Your turn and river bets are so weak they look like bluffs.

I'd call that river bet with nothing just to see what you had since you're making it so cheap.

I raise the flop to $8-9, expecting to fold out weak hands and other flush draws. If called, I give up on the turn UI.

I can't decide if I dislike the turn play or the river play more.

Probably the river is worse.

just that making those bets makes this -ev. to bet HU, you need the pot to be 12BB on the flop. with a draw

I don't really like the limp in EP. The raise on the flop seems ok to me but the turn bet is terrible. If he calls the flop, what is he folding for the same amount of money on the turn? Same goes for the river...he is def calling you with any hand that has showdown value. If you want to to bluff him out I would suggest betting more on the turn and shoving the river next time.
