thin turn play
20/40 against a likely 2p2er
I open (guy likely views me as a lag) in early middle position, dude 3-bets in the CO, I cap with AhKs, only guy calls. flop (9.5 sb) Th 6h 2h I bet, guy calls turn (~6 bb) Kc I bet, dude raises load up the bus to free roll town? |

Re: thin turn play
I like 3-bet, lead river. Any more raises by villain = call down unless I hit a beautiful heart. Given your image I think his range is easily wide enough here that you are ahead often enough to want to continue raising at this point.

Re: thin turn play
Hobbs, you still play limit holdem? Stick around.
Nice hand, by the way. I usually wimp out and just call a 3-bet with AKo OOP, but if your cap is for value I should consider doing that more often. |

Re: thin turn play
i'd 3-bet here also, but if you get 4-bet i would need improvement to see a showdown and improvement is a relative term given the board and the fact the turn went 4 bets.

Re: thin turn play
cool. I 3-bet and the guy called down. I apparently needed the 4th heart on the river though.
