Default QQ flopped boat, nitty play?

I flopped an (almost) unbeatable hand and call the bet. My thinking is that if he has any hand but AA and KK, he will fold on the flop, and I will have cost myself. Good or bad thinking here?

On turn, I assume AK just hit, and go to war. Uh-OH he goes to war back. Now I am afraid he actually does have KK, and hit his two outer.

River, he checks into me, and now, once again, I have the chance to play like a NIT. Check behind, and see where we are? Value bet and see if he really does have KK>

Again, I know these come up infrequently, but the pot is huge, and my hand is huge too. AND, I have come to the realization taht a great deal of the 'earn' at these levels comes as much from maximizing your wins on huge hands/pots like this one, as it does from minimizing the small 1sb leaks.

Thanks again for your input.

Todd

Another easy bet. This is consistent with KQ. AKo might also play this way.

How could you not bet this here? I go so many bets on the river, it's not funny. Not reaching the cap here would be a disaster.

PreFlop: Fine

FLOP: I think we have to raise and if 3 bet to, we cap the flop. I can't see much value in slow playing the flop HU.

TURN: Interesting. I play the same.

River: Since we are seeing this to showdown no matter what: the question I ask myself is - Are we ahead more than 55% of the time. I think we clearly are. I bet, 3 bet and call a cap. If he shows us 66 or KK fine. Type in NH go on. More often I think we see AK, KQ, he could have been playing Ax of clubs in which case he will muck the river anyway.

The villain could have KK, but his play is also consistent with KQ and he has probably put you on AK. That of course assumes that the villain is thinking about something other than his hand.

He check raised you and capped the turn. Would he really try another check raise on the river again? Why would he be sure you would bet the river after he capped the turn? Was the turn cap just some kind of weird free showdown play?

Reads on this player and what he might think of your play would help here.

Without reads, I would bet the river and call a raise.

Bet/call quickly! If he bet into you it would be a Laise.

The turn action plus him slowing down on the river when the third spade hit the board makes me think he has something like KQ rather than KK. Either that or he is getting fancy (less likely). I'd have to bet and see what he does.
