Default A flop shove with JJ in a rr pot (400NL)

Villain is DontDoItBro. Runs at 25/20/4 or so. He's been 3beting quite a bit. Only pot we've played together is he opens UTG, I 3bet from the blinds, he shoves with AK and sucks out on my KK.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($946.10)
BB ($412.80)
UTG ($327.20)
MP ($460)
Hero ($417.60)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.

if you call flop he is almost never firing again unless you're beat. You're letting him play perfectly against you here.

Dbitel,

Is he really even contemplating calling with worse hands here? Please explain benefits with pushing as compared to just calling and folding to a turnbet? The only one I think of is that he probably folds QQ to the push.

hmm, I think I kinda like it because your hand looks like a bluff, since you wouldn't shove KK and you rarely have AK here, so you might get some hero calls from 77-TT, while protecting your hand against things like AQ/AT or whatever.
