Default Good comeback for tip pressure?

Play 4/8 a little while back and this guy started giving people a hard time for tipping only 1-2 bucks when a pot was shipped there way. I spend a bit of time thinking about my comeback if I had one shipped my way while he was there (but it wasn't, oooh running bad). Whats your line here? You know, get the guy to back off on making people uncomfortable without having him leave the table.

Say nothing that will piss him off and make him leave. These people are usually donators.

Was this guy expecting people to tip the dealer with a red bird in a 4/8 game?

Read my post. That applies to people telling me I tip too much. I give them the same response.

The most I ever tipped in a 4-8 game was $4 and I only did that once, usually $1 or $2.

Yeah, $1 is pretty standard in a 4/8 game. If I happen to win a huuuuuge pot, then I'll toke $3-$4 dollars but thats only if the pot was real juicy. Tipping any more than that and you're going to have a hard time making money.

I generally ignore these people while I am playing. I have only run into a handful of them over the years.

On another note those that come here to say you should tip less or not tip at all can do wahtever you want with your money. When I am on the floor and someone suggests to another player not to tip or not to tip so much they have to go, I see no real reason why the same shouldn't apply here.
