Default Did I wuss out on the river?

Despite the fact that 99.9% of the time the answer is yes, i wanted to get some input on this hand.

I have TT in CO. 4 limpers including villian who is reasonably tight preflop. Postflop I don't have much of a read but he seems tight. I raise.

Flop comes 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Checked to me. I bet, bb calls, villian calls.

Turn is a K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Checked to me. I bet, bb folds, villian calls.

River is a A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Checked to me. I check....

I checked because I dont see what he would call with that I beat. The only thing really is pockets, but I dont know if he would do this in this spot. Thoughts?

I would have bet the river. He played this like he has either a small pocket pair or a flush draw.

betting the river is fine as long as you can fold to a raise.

I'd like to politely request that the people advocating bet should put a "tight" opponent on a range of hands that he (1) plays this way, and (2) calls our bet with. Of those, do we beat at least 55% of them?

I'm split on this one. My first thought was check behind.

I'm trying to find a worse hand that will call. It's hard.
