Importing Poker Stars hands
Ok I seem to suck at the search function and this is probably a really basic question, but....
How do I import stars hands on to pokertracker? When I played on party the hand histories were already imported to my computer, but Stars hand histories are not. I suck at computers. Or if you could link me to a thread that says how to do this, that would be very helpful. |

Re: Importing Poker Stars hands
From Pokertracker, click on Help/Getting Started. About two paragraphs down you'll see a link to click on to get instructions on how to set it up with Stars.

Re: Importing Poker Stars hands
Crap it says the first step is to change the instant hand history option on Stars so that you save them to a folder? Is there any way to get all of the stars hands that I have played in the last few months that are not saved to a folder?

Re: Importing Poker Stars hands
If you didn't have the option checked to save to a folder then they won't be on your computer. You can have the Stars software email hands to you by selecting Requests/Hand History. Stars Support may be able to email additional hands you played up to a certain point (not sure what that is but you can ask them.)
Once you get the emailed hands, follow the instructions from the Getting Started section in Pokertracker as they pertain to Paradise Poker as the only way you could get Paradise hands was via email. It should work for the emailed Stars hands as well. |

Re: Importing Poker Stars hands
Hell, in one of my tilting e-mail rants sent to PS support, they offered to e-mail me all HHs from the 220k of hands I played there. Just ask for the last few months and I'm sure they'll do it.
