Lawyers!!

Hey guys,

This is very random but 2+2 is the largest community of active members I know about so here it goes:

I am a meteorology undergraduate. I am thinking of studying law once I graduate. Can any lawyers or those that know about the law give me some insight to what its like to be a lawyer. I mean info that I wont get on university webpages. Is law school that hard? I have taken lots of math and science courses up to now...will this help me at all. How stressful is your job?

Basically jsut give me some advice. I am a very confused little boy.

I have never actually practiced law, but I did graduate from Law School. There is a lot of work involved in getting a degree. It takes up a lot of your time. The first year can be a little scary and intimidating. But intellectually it's not that hard. The math and science guys I went to school with, had a pretty easy time with it. They said it was easier than their undergraduate degrees.

While I'm not a lawyer, my dad is and I worked at his office for a year, and I think it's safe to say that its RIDICULOUSLY stressful. My father actively discouraged me from going to law school when I considered it in college, and says that anyone would be insane to consider a career in law in the post-information age. The stress is unbearable.
