**** OFFICIAL**** My team got screwed by the committee thread
meh.
Explain to me why the AP/Coaches can vote a team #13 and #15 and the much smarter committee can put them at somewhere between #25 and #28. (yes, I'm sure you will say RPI/SOS etc-- then why the eff don't the damn pollsters take this into account also?) Getting out of New Orleans would be a sweet in their face for sure. meh. rant over. |

Re: **** OFFICIAL**** My team got screwed by the committee thread
polling doesn't matter one bit when it comes to the tourney. I'm not a fan of any of these teams, but heres the order in which I thought teams got screwed:
1. Florida St 2. Niagara 3. Nevada 4. Drexel 5. Syracuse |

Re: **** OFFICIAL**** My team got screwed by the committee thread
Lets just end the reg. season after Thanksgiving next yr and start the conf. tourneys since everything in between is meaningless anyway. Hope Walters dies in horrible pain.

Re: **** OFFICIAL**** My team got screwed by the committee thread
Syracuse:
First 10-6 team out of the Big East not to make the tournament ever. 3-2 against RPI top 25. Wins against Georgetown, @Providence, Villanova, @Marquette. No loss all season by more than 12 points, with the 12 point loss to ND the only one in double digits. Higher in the Big East standings than both Marquette and Villanova who are in. Pathetic. |

Re: **** OFFICIAL**** My team got screwed by the committee thread
Montana should have gotten in.....to the women's tournament. Come on, 27-3's not good enough to sneak in as a 12 seed? What else do they have to do?
On the men's side, the only legitimate snubs I see are Clemson (no one's talking about them, but they have the best overall resume of anyone who missed the tourney), Missouri State, and Florida State. |

Illinois: Indiana, MSU, and Purdue got much higher seeds...please [/ QUOTE ] I don't think you're joking here, right? You're making a fuss about your seed when many pundits had Illinois on the outside looking in? Am I seeing the schedule correctly and your best non-conference win is at Missouri. Be thankful your team is even listed on the brackets this year MT2R. Illinois is 3-9 against #13 seeds or better. Kenpom: MSU-13 IU-20 PUR-22 Ill-24 |

Re: **** OFFICIAL**** My team got screwed by the committee thread
not joking at all---Illinois is #3 in the big11ten. I'll accept an argument for other teams, especially MSU, but none has a hands down argument over Illinois. The differentiation is very small between all those teams, yet the seeding was a huge differenece....kind of a joke.
MSU's big non-conf win was over a very young Texas team early in the year that was still finding its way IU's big non-conf win was @ UConn and pretty much a yawn everywhere else Illinois has more road/nuetral wins over NCAA teams than the other 3 combined |

Re: **** OFFICIAL**** My team got screwed by the committee thread
IL is right where they should be seeded and I wouldnt have faulted the committee if they were left out.
