It depends. Are you using Helmuth's book as a light source to read Caro's book when you burn it?

One hell of a lot of confusion. Why is it Hellmuth used basically the same title as another poker related book that has been out over a year before it?

You would think there should be something unethical about that. But maybe ethics doesn't fit into Hellmuth's realm very well...

Hellmuth only presents the book. He did not write it.

Caro's is considered the best work on tells. I'm still reading Read 'em and Reap.

I liked Caro's better.

Read them both and draw your own conclusions.

You can also use the search function for further reviews.

With only 56 posts to your name, is there any sort of (other) credit to this claim?

I cannot read Navarro's book. I don't really know why. Can't finish it. Can't read more than a couple of pages before going cross-eyed. Caro's book is still the source, imho.

I've read Caro's book and it made a big difference when playing with my buddies in the home game. But as you can guess made no difference in online play. FWIW I've heard great things about Navarro's book.

I preferred Navarro's book. It just makes more sense.
