PokerStars 100NL easier than 25NL?

Hello people,

Has anyone ever noticed as they moved up from one level to the next that things seemed to get easier? After not playing for nearly a year or so, and seeing that Party was not an option anymore, I switched over to Stars and started twelve-tabling 25NL like I used to.

As you all know, I'm sure: harder.

But after building a roll, I leapfrogged 50NL straight to 100NL and strangely enough, it's easier. 250k hands later, my bb/100 hand return is higher than it was on 25NL. And it can't be that now I'm just "warmed up" again.

Anyone know what I'm talking about/have a similar experience?

I've never made much playing poker, but now it's like freaking Christmas. 100 NL is easy as hell--easier than 25NL.

I guess what I noticed is that there are a lot of nitty 25 NL players who are obviously hard to extract from. They seem to make money at it but never move up, evolve, learn how to BLUFF, or even c-bet, etc. When you're surrounded by four-five players like this, it's just a blind-stealing contest. At least at 100 NL, you can take a few chances. I can't count the number of times I've made what I considered to be a good bluff at 25 NL and have it instacalled by some donk with second pair.

fwiw i have noticed something similar. 25NL players are very nitty and when I have played at 100 the players like to gamble more

400nl was always easier than 100nl on Party

Shrug. My play/bluffs/etc work better at 100 NL than at 25 NL. I win at both. If that means I suck, then okay. I'm happy with sucking. Originally, all I wanted the poker money for was to buy CDs. Now it does more than that.
