Default I Need a Good Country to Invest In

I'm making a portfolio for my finance seminar class and one of the sections of it asks to choose a country outside the U.S. that you feel represents a strong investment oppurtunity. I have very little knowledge about investing outside the U.S. and would be be thankful for any suggestions of good potential countries. I prefer a country that's still developing...basically some risk, but not too much, so that it can generate a nice return. An example would be Venezuela without Hugo Chavez. Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Mexico.

If nothing else, you know it's getting a lot of U.S. dollars.

I think most people will pick China as their country. But if you want to be different, I'd consider Russia.
